yemeni protesters wore pink ribbons symbolise jasmine revolution , indicate non-violent intent. shawki al-qadi, lawmaker , opposition figure, said pink chosen represent love , signal protests peaceful. preponderance of pink ribbons in demonstrations showed level of planning went protests.
