gornji kosinj
donji kosinj
kosinjski bakovac

while belong village: rudinka, mlakva, linden fields, karst, , gradina bakovac. kosinj located in so-called kosinj valley karst valley formed erosive action of forces of river lika. in kosinj there artificial reservoir lake krušćica. area full of farmland contains cattle , canola farming.


the character of river meander (which 78 km second-largest underground river in europe) winds field abyss begovac (in literature known markov gap depth 1725 m) caught biggest carp in europe. should noted lika river abounds in fish resources, accumulation lake kruscica (created in 1971, suitable water sports , swimming in calm waters). variety of wildlife includes catfish , carp also: pike, chub, crvenorepke, white amur, sunstroke, , babushkas.


in kosinj valley caves , sinkholes. there numerous wells , ponds, wells , springs. 1 of symbols of dominant kosinje appearance imposed kalic mountain peak (969 m) magnificent views of zavižan, krasno, parts of perusic in kosinj, , large part of valley.
