camp borneo opened first camp, camp tinangol, in 2009. camp 30 minutes south of district town of kudat, in northern sabah. based on outskirts of rungus ethnic group community, , built around 2 large traditional style longhouses. camp opened following consent of local community , landowners. camp managed construction of kindergarten facility officially opened on 30 january 2015, in conjunction sustainable design firm arkitrek [3].

camp mantanani located on pulau mantanani (mantanani island) off north west coast of sabah, , established in late 2009 camps international, consent of landowners , community officials on island. situated along beach main baju laut community, camp consists of number of open sided bunkhouses , situated 10 metres shore. camp managed construction of community learning centre [4] opened in late 2013, along other on-going small community development projects.

camp bongkud opened camps international within dusun community of kg bongkud east of ranua. camp nearby poring hot springs , situated within main community. largest of camp borneo’s permanent camps being able house 100 visitors. camp bongkud oversaw construction of asang community centre opened in december 2014, , built camp borneo volunteers. built using recycled driftwood collected during beach cleanups
other projects include construction of small pedestrian bridges aid during rainy season , refurbishment of both single mothers’ centre , small kindergarten.

camp beng mealea established in 2010, taking first visitors @ end of year. beng mealea located 90 mins northeast of siem reap town, , has own temple complex. camp contains 3 longhouses , can take 80 visitors in capacity. camp project manages improvements local school’s infrastructure including library, teacher accommodation block , classroom refurbishment.

camp beng pae established in may 2014 , situated within kampong thom province. approximately 50 km north of kampong thom town, sitting on edge of beng pae wildlife reserve within tu lek village. contains 2 large longhouses accommodation capacity of 64 people. camp project manages tree nursery, building houses impoverished families , refurbishment within community’s school.

camp maqui officially opened in february 2012 , main camp within camps international’s latin american branch. based in cloud forest of ecuadorian andes, 2 hours away quito. camp responsible management of projects such reconstruction of nursery/community centre, used local residents meetings , activities children, providing english lessons children in local school. camp volunteers built bridge on river situated next community, goal of supporting local tourism, , constructing water tanks improve quality of water distributed community.

camp colca opened in july 2014, first group of volunteers being part of camps international’s school expedition trips. located on edge of colca canyon , in middle of small town on road chivay cabanaconde. arequipa nearest city, situated 3 hours away. camp responsible building kitchen local primary school in february 2015, refurbishment of classrooms in secondary school , relaying of kindergarten’s playground. camp provide english lessons in community , have developed aesthetics of community plaza.

camp moray due open in june 2015, first group of volunteers due part of camps international’s school expedition trips. camp moray located around 2 hours cusco, near ancient inca moray ruins. camp sits high in sacred valley. camp responsible projects develop water systems, build toilets , greenhouses community, , reforest large areas of land surrounding community, due start in june 2015.
