Presidential Election 2014 Politics of Ukraine



originally scheduled take place on 29 march 2015, date changed 25 may 2014 following 2014 ukrainian revolution. petro poroshenko won elections 54.7% of votes. closest competitor yulia tymoshenko, emerged 12.81% of votes. central election commission reported voter turnout @ on 60% excluding regions not under government control, crimea , large part of donbass. since poroshenko obtained absolute majority in first round, run-off second ballot unnecessary.
