new alicante terminal being built


the valencian community served 2 international airports, alicante airport, tourist-oriented , valencia airport, carries more business traffic. third airport, in castellón province in north of valencian territory, white elephant officially opened on 25 march 2011 has received first commercial flight on 15 september 2015.


a new terminal @ alicante airport opened in march 2011. new alicante terminal (nat) replaced other 2 existing terminals t1 , t2, doubling passenger capacity of airport 20m passengers per annum. valencia airport being expanded serve higher passenger demand due new flight connections city.
