the pretoria wug founded on 28 july 2007. ptawug constitution guarantees openness, free participation , equality members of wireless user group. ptawug exclusively funded donations community. volunteers conduct highsite installation , maintenance in spare time. ptawug 5th largest wireless network organization in world 600 member connections (7 october 2009). avoid rental costs, highsites on privately owned properties, in high areas line of sight surrounding areas. network has number of towers, other highsites located on tall buildings or @ private residences in strategic places.
