early career (1987-1992)

born in columbus, ohio, hines entered professional wrestling in 1987, joining older brother bobby fulton decade after own debut in 1977. in 1989, began wrestling in televised matches championship wrestling florida. during time in area, formed short-lived tag team nightmare danny davis , gained title shot @ cwf tag team champions japanese connection (mr. chono , rpm) in may 1989.

after bobby fulton , tommy rogers left nwa , split up, joined brother later year in american wrestling association briefly feuded awa tag team champions destruction crew (mike enos , wayne bloom). , bobby fulton had short run in nwa , wrestled both fantastics , fantastic ones on independent circuit.

during time, hines competed in jim crockett promotions and, teaming terry taylor against nasty boys (brian knobs , jerry saggs) @ clash of champions xii, pinned saggs.

staying organization during next year or two, exposure increased during promotion s eventual transition world championship wrestling although used preliminary wrestler against veterans such nikita koloff whom lost on wcw worldwide in tallahassee, florida on august 3, 1991. 1 of wins, however, against future superstar bob holly.

in 1992, , bobby fulton began teaming second incarnation of fantastics, formerly composed of bobby fulton , tommy rogers. appearing on earliest episodes of smw s weekly television show, , bobby fulton fought ivan , vladimir koloff in brief feud during march.

entering championship tournament crown first smw tag team champions, advance finals before being eliminated heavenly bodies (stan lane & tom prichard) in harrogate, tennessee on april 23, 1992. on july 2, win 12-man battle royal in paintsville, kentucky. participants included bobby fulton, robert gibson, joe cazana, dirty white boy tony anthony, dixie dynamite, jimmy golden, tim horner, buddy landel, brian lee , heavenly bodies. , bobby fulton tour japan losing andré giant, mighty inoue & yoshinari ogawa in 6-man tag team match patriot in hamamatsu, japan on may 30 and, johnny ace, lost in rematch 3 days later in fukushima, japan.

feuding heavenly bodies , manager james e. cornette throughout summer, briefly captured smw tag team championship heavenly bodies defeating them in johnson city, tennessee on august 8 before dropping belts them in benton, tennessee 2 days later. splitting after, hines left promotion , traveled independent circuit short time before moving on japan later year.

the eagle (1992–1994)

in 1992, began competing in japan eagle, forming successful tag team patriot. competed in 1992 , 1993 world s strongest tag determination league winning asia tag team championship tsuyoshi kikuchi & kenta kobashi in koyama, japan on june 2, 1993. after losing titles doug furnas & dan kroffat on september 9, patriot left ajpw world championship wrestling while hines began teaming falcon competing in 1994 world s strongest tag determination league.

various appearances (1999–2005)

by 1999, had become regular in japan pro wrestling competing under real name. appearing on televised matches aired on nippon tv, hines teamed wolf hawkfield against giant kimala & tamon honda @ super power series supercard @ sendai miyagi-ken sports center on june 9. during summer action series, faced akira taue & toshiaki kawada & hiroshi hase in 6-man tag team match johnny ace , mike burton @ korakuen hall on august 22. several days later, , johnny ace teamed against takao omori & yoshihiro takayama @ wakayama kenritsu taiikukan on august 28 facing yoshinari ogawa in singles match @ osaka chou taiikukan following night. in april 2000, substituting injured reno riggins, , steven dunn defended nwa world tag team championship losing title rock n roll express (ricky morton & robert gibson) in waegwan, south korea.

the following year, appeared on undercard of giant baba memorial spectacular teaming johnny smith , jim steele in 6-man tag team match defeating mike rotunda, curt hennig , barry windham (substituting kendall windham) @ tokyo dome on january 28, 2001.

he participated in japan pro wrestling s champion carnival tournament facing mike barton, toshiaki kawada, taiyō kea, johnny smith, jim steele, steve williams, gen ichiro tenryu , yoshiaki fujiwara between march 23 , april 8.

during next several months, appeared in high-profile matches @ budokan hall , pinned satoshi kojima during tag team match steve williams against kojima & hiroyoshi tenzan on april 14. later teamed mike barton defeat nobutaka araya & shigeo okumura on june 8 defeating yoshiaki fujiwara, yuto aijima & ryuji hijikata in 6-man tag team match kasey geyer , shawn hernandez after pinning aijima on july 14. later year, teamed jim steele & vampiro losing hiroshi hase, steve williams & mike rotunda on september 8.

at ajpw s 29th anniversary show @ budokan hall on october 27, george hines, johnny smith , kazushi miyamoto defeated masato tanaka, ryuji hijikata , nobukazu hirai when hines pinned hirai. johnny smith , vampiro, hines beat arashi, nobukazu hirai , koki kitahara on december 7, 2001.

on february 24, 2002 defeated yoji anjoh, arashi, & nobutaka araya in 6-man match mike barton , jim steele. following month, during japanese ppv event, , tomoaki honma lost hiroshi hase & hideki hosaka on april 13. few weeks later, teamed kaz hayashi , keiji mutoh win giant baba memorial 6 man tag team tournament. , johnny smith participated tag team match on july 20 against mike barton , jim steele, steve williams & mike rotunda , brian adams & bryan clark. after half hour, match won mike barton & jim steele after barton pinned rotunda.

on august 30, in 2-day ppv event @ budokan hall, hines teamed johnny smith , gran hamada defeat steve williams, mike rotunda & gran naniwa when hines pinned naniwa. following night, hines featured in main event facing genichiro tenryu, steve williams, arashi, koki kitahara, & masao orihara in 10-man tag team elimination match keiji mutoh, hiroshi hase, jinsei shinzaki , kaz hayashi. pinned arashi, second man eliminated , team lost match genichiro tenryu , steve williams survivors. hines again appear on live ppv broadcast during ajpw s 30th anniversary show @ budokan hall teaming mike barton , jim steele defeat arashi, nobutaka araya , nobukazu hirai on october 27, 2002.

on april 3, pinned satoshi kojima during tag team match keiji mutoh against kojima & jimmy yang @ tomioka-cho gym in fukushima, japan. following night @ fukushima s big palette in kooriyama city, teamed satoshi kojima , kaz hayashi losing genichiro tenryu, arashi, & nobutaka araya in 6-man tag team match after being pinned arashi. on april 5, , gigantes teamed defeat tomoaki honma & kazushi miyamoto @ nagaoka city welfare hall in niigata, japan.

continuing team gigantes, 2 defeated hiroshi hase & masayuki kono @ budokan hall on april 12. 2 months later, teamed big john tenta & robbie brookside defeat hiroshi hase, masayuki kono & shigeo okumura in ppv event @ budokan hall on july 19, 2003.

hines have brief stint in iwa japan and, in august 2004, entered championship tournament iwa japan heavyweight championship advancing quarterfinals before being eliminated barbarian.

returning ajpw in 2005, teamed mike barton , jim steele defeat jamal, chuck palumbo & rodney mack (14:02) @ giant baba farewell supercard on february 5, 2005.

independent circuit

returning united states, , brother bobby fulton came out of retirement one-time appearance against assassins @ event big time wrestling on september 2, 2006. retired shortly thereafter.
