education , career

hauck studied creative writing @ san diego state university, , briefly pursued career in journalism before moving los angeles work in television , film production. adam found work writer , producer on nightly fx talk show, x show , later worked on comedy central s beat geeks , , several reality tv shows, including mtv s road rules , nbc s wants marry dad? in 2004, adam made feature film debut, writing , producing documentary homecoming, made long-time producing partner george cawood. homecoming went on enjoy award winning festival run before finding home on pbs. of adam s recent work can seen in dvd special features has written , produced gary ross s seabiscuit, james cameron s ghosts of abyss, joss whedon s serenity, , joe carnahan s crime thriller smokin aces. in 2007 directed music video post-rock band el ten eleven.


incarceration

since 2011 hauck has been serving life sentence @ atwater regional penitentiary in atwater village, california. eligible parole in september 2032.


solitary confinement

in 2014, hauck moved solitary confinement after protest snoring deemed disruptive institutional decorum. in these quarters containing nothing more threadbare mattress , 5 gallon bucket reminiscent of heroin kicking scenes in movie trainspotting hauck spent on year before returning general population.
