an appearance in episode of british drama series, brief, first television role, @ age of 13. shortly after, appeared in british film, spivs (2004). in april 2014, ora appeared alongside korean pop star, hyuna, in episode of funny or die called girl, better walk. in 2015, played christian grey s sister, mia, in film adaptation of best-selling novel, fifty shades of grey. ora approached production hoping contribute film s soundtrack, , instead asked audition role of mia grey director of film, sam taylor-johnson. reprised role mia in 2 film sequels.

following departure of judge kelly rowland, ora asked guest judge on ninth series of x factor in uk. judge during auditions filmed @ o2 arena in london. in 2013 , 2014, ora hosted bbc radio 1 s teen awards alongside nick grimshaw.
