kzine

kzine student-run publication based on web newspaper, paper publications have been made. since may 2014, kzine has begun publish internet radio programmes in form of podcasts. kzine developed website kungsholmen unofficial webpage (kiws), internet site created in 1998 student. in 1999 first edition of web-based magazine kzine.com published. in 2008 kzine won youth journalism prize lilla journalistpriset best web-based student publication (in upper-secondary school class). in december 2013 kzine article political censorship of school class photograph attracted wider media attention in news publications expressen , nyheter24, among others.


zambia group

a partnertship has existed since 1999 between kungsholmens gymnasium , 3 schools in zambia (hillcrest technical high school in livingstone, chinika high school in lusaka, , monze boarding high school in monze). zambia group raises funds support these schools , students. promotes cultural exchanges, , organizes expeditions visit these schools work on various projects. anders jonsson , eileen ingulfson, 2 teachers pioneered partnership, won 2008 fuf prize in global development swedish development forum (swedish: föreningen för utvecklingsfrågor) work on zambia group.

founded in 2010, kungsholmens debating society debating association @ kungsholmen. activities include organising large public debates, meetings improve upon member s rhetoric , hosting annual debate tournament kg cup. kds debate teams have been successful on competitive scene, reaching finals of swedish schools debating championship twice, breaking in international tournaments such heart of europe , having members of association being selected swedish national team world schools debating championships.
