the menara gardens located west of city, @ gates of atlas mountains. built around 1130 almohad ruler abd al-mu min. name menara derives pavilion small green pyramid roof (menzeh). pavilion built during 16th century saadi dynasty , renovated in 1869 sultan abderrahmane of morocco, used stay here in summertime.
