the ginetti chapel, first on right, designed carlo fontana in 1670, while sculptural relief in white marble depicting angel urges sacred family flee egypt (1675) sculpted antonio raggi. angel depicted in style of mentor, bernini. in chapel buried cardinal marzio ginetti (died 1671) , nephew, cardinal giovanni francesco ginetti (died 1691).


the second strozzi chapel has pietà, leah , rachel (1616), copies in bronze gregorio de rossi originals michelangelo. chapel designed michelangelo, executed leone strozzi (1555–1632). beneath statues of leah , rachel 2 bronze bas-reliefs depicting deposition cross , christ s descent limbo . cenotaphs in black marble in side walls erected strozzi family: cardinal lorenzo (died 1571), leone (died 1554), pietro (died 1558), roberto strozzi (died 1566) , maddalena medici.

in right transept chapel of st andrew avellino death of saint (1625) giovanni lanfranco, frescoed impressive glory of paradise (1625–28) in cupola, figures of evangelists in spandrels (1621–1628) rival, domenichino.


in corner of right transept situated 2 chapels. chapel of crucifix (1647) displays antique wooden crucifix above painting of madonna inside radiant halo. on right side tomb of theatine cardinal st giuseppe maria tomasi. oratory of divine love dates 1751.
